Mo’s Current Obsessions (#1)

Every so often {okay, ALL the time} I totally obsess over certain things.  I thought I would do you all a huge favor and share what is currently taking over my mind.

#1 The Voice – How can someone NOT like this show!?!?  The talent, the witty banter between the mentors, Xtina’s need for attention and lack of clothing….it all amazes me!  And it makes my heart happy that Carson Daily has a hit show again {I LOVED him on TRL back in the day}.

#2 Kale – I have had kale 3 times in the past week.  I cannot get enough of this leafy, green vegetable.

#3 Red Velvet ANYTHING – I have searched Pinterest and all my favorite blogs for the best RV recipes due to February 14th quickly approaching…there should be some recipes posted on here Sunday or Monday.

#4 Catching Fire – The 2nd book in the Hunger Games series.  If you have missed me posting lately, you can point the finger directly and Katniss, Peeta, Gale and the rest of the HG crew.  I finished the 1st book in record time and immediately have jumped in this one.  Any other HG fans out there??

So that is what I have been doing for almost a week instead of coming up with glorious blog posts – watching The Voice, while eating Kale, Pinning RV recipes and reading….I guess life could be worse!  :)

  1. I am loving the Voice as well! I didn't watch it last season but after seeing all the hype over it, I had to tune in on Monday and can't wait for next wk. However, I'm the opposite when it comes to Carson. When I saw he was the host, I wanted to turn off the show (dated a dude in college who looked exactly like him).

Kale rocks my world, so does red velvet ANYTHING! I tried a waffle and shake this past yr and both were amazing.

  2. I just love kale! Have you tried dinosaur kale (its purple) and super yummy. So my friend is trying to get me to read the hunger games - but I think they are too scary!!

    1. No, I have not, but maybe I should. Does it taste like regular kale?
It's such a great series...worth the read. Kind of scary, but the sincerity of Katniss makes up for it.

  3. I love that red chocolate is after kale. If that's not balance, I don't know what is!!

  4. Everyone is reading the Hunger Games so I read the back of the first one and they sound so scary!!! Is it scary? Oh and Kale in smoothies is my favorite.

    1. I didn't think it was that scary. I was so intrigued by the main character, Katniss. She is so strong yet vulnerable at the same time.

I'm so afraid to try kale in a smoothie, but I know so may people who do it.

  5. Yes to The Voice! It's a million times better than American Idol! I'm glad you're reading The Hunger Games. It's a human obligation and you'll be just in time for the movie to come out next month.
